Watergrill Restaurant, Abbotsford

Excellent location with wonderful views of the water. Went with a group of 8 on Monday 1 January and stayed for quite a few hours. The food is good - it’s good quality, standard fare. Some dishes are better than others. By example, the pasta dishes are good, however the flavours were a little bland. The fish, burgers, salads and starters are really good. Fresh, tasty, well presented and sensible portions also. Definitely worth visiting with smaller groups, friends and familiy. We will be returning for sure.

Perfect Location/view however EPIC CUSTOMER SERVICE FAILURE!!!!! I cannot put into words that how bad their customer service was!!! If you have a group booking please forget about it!!!!! First it was a mammoth task to book the venue! you had to get permission re what to have in what area! It was like everyone was running their own show! Ive been told sorry I cannot take ur booking as we are busy!! Anyways cut the story short because of the nice views we decided to go ahead with the booking! Despite our confirmed timing they were not ready to start the catering on time! It was a casual catering dining they would leave one tray hanging in the middle of a long table and it was up to us to pass around! We were told we had to fill up the water jogs ourselves and their staff won’t do it! 😱😱😱😱 The list goes on so I may stop here!!!!!!! In short if you want to grab your own beer to sit and enjoy the view you can try this place but stay away from them when it comes to group booking!!!!
